RF Design Engineer RF Power - Semiconductor

The RF Design Engineer role for RF Power works in teams to develop highly complex products in existing and to be released technologies to reach the RF performance requirements of leading customers and meet future market requirements, respectively.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The main tasks in this role will be:
- Design, simulation and measurement of power amplifiers for RF Base Station applications
- Propose, define and develop innovative design solutions for current and new products to meet market trends and maintain our competitiveness
- Synthesizes knowledge so that it is clear, useable and accessible to the BL RF Power.

CANDIDATE SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS
Experience/knowledge:
- At least 3 years RF design experience.
- Power amplifier design, PCB layouting, prototyping, troubleshooting.
- RF simulation tools like ADS/MWO and 3D EM simulation.
- RF equipment and measurement techniques.
- Physics of semiconductor devices.
- Impedance matching for (broadband) power amplifiers.
- Good problem solving skills
- Have a pro-active attitude, hands-on mentality, team player and good communication skills.
