RF Design Engineer - Permanent - Thames Valley

A new opportunity has arisen for a RF Design Engineer to join a leading communications software company on a permanent basis. They specialise in developing electronic products for the defence and public bodies and pride themselves on the quality and innovation of benchmark products which are used for good causes.

As a successful RF Design Engineer, you will contribute to product development whilst acting as technical lead and mentoring other staff.

You will have most or all of the following skills;
* Degree educated in electronic engineering or equivalent
* Minimum 5 years commercial experience in a similar RF design role
* Analogue/ RF design experience
* Filter specification and design
* Small signal linear RF amplifier design
* Power amplifier design
* Oscillator and PLL design
* PSU design
* Simulation tools (e.g. SPICE, AWR Microwave Office)

In addition if you have experience of PCB layout, C/ C++ programming, DSP to complement your core skills, this would be highly beneficial but not mandatory.
