Reward Manager - Canary Wharf - £400-600 pd - 9 month fixed term contract

Advantage Resourcing are recruiting an experienced Reward Manager to join a leading Financial services organisation in the city.

Reporting to the Senior Manager Performance and Reward, you'll support a range of performance and reward activities. This will include providing guidance on performance management, executive compensation, employee compensation and benefits.

Duties and Responsibilities;

*Act as product champion for Performance & Reward to stakeholders across the HR function and within the business, building awareness and adoption of relevant products and processes, including the use and acceptance of total compensation, incorporating local business needs and regulatory requirements as appropriate
*Establish and maintain close working relationships with HR Generalists to ensure business managers are provided with timely strategic advice for performance management, compensation (particularly the Senior Executive population) and benefits (as relevant to specialist field)
*Project manage key strategic Performance & Reward initiatives in collaboration with HR Generalists and with support from Business Support
*Assess the effectiveness of policies and processes and proactively recommend new and innovative approaches and solutions
*Act as advocate for the Group self service strategy and promoting contact centre channels for resolving commonplace queries
*Interpret and advise on policy and act as subject matter expert for the business groups.
*Manage year end processes for the businesses in line with the Global Reward Strategy. Support and provide quality assurance of pay review process
*Support the development of business line compensation structures and incentive plans and manage local benefits framework and policies which encourage maximum employee contribution to service quality and business profitability (as appropriate)
*Maintain expert specialist knowledge by keeping abreast of published materials, competitor practice, external Market developments and trends and legislative and regulatory developments
*Support matrixed decision making for relevant Performance

*Graduate degree or equivalent with preferably additional post graduate qualification in human resources, tax, accounting of other business related discipline
*Experience of Performance and Reward practice in a complex global Matrix business
*Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills and strong customer orientation
*Strong analytical skills; ability to interpret and apply market data and trends
*Ability to work in a virtual set-up and influence counterparts in Regional P ability to recommend creative and feasible solutions
*Strong business acumen, able to link business strategy to people practices
