We are looking for a Reward Analyst to join our Global Rewards team, a group of Reward professionals who work closely together as a centre of expertise within the global Elsevier Human Resources organisation. The role will report into the Reward Manager for our UK and EMEA/Latin America region, and will be based at our Oxford offices.

You will be responsible for support the Global Rewards team with a range of compensation and benefits processes and projects.

These will include:

- To support the UK & EMEA/LA Reward Manager in providing expert compensation and benefit advice to the business via the relevant HRBP.
- Ensure the PeopleHUB portal is kept up to date with all relevant compensation and benefit information.
- Support the Global Rewards team with the use of the compensation tool to deliver the annual reward review cycle, with a particular focus on the European geographies.
- For the 2014/15 annual reward review, support the Oracle Fusion Compensation System roll out across the UK and EMEA/LA countries, supporting the communications, training and post launch HR and user support processes.
- Provide reporting and analysis of salary, PDP and bonus data as required.
- Submit Elsevier's UK salary & benefits data for a variety of market surveys eg Alan Jones, Towers Perrin, Mercer and CELRE.
- Provision of market benchmark data from UK market surveys as required for competitive analysis.
- Make any annual updates, or other required modifications, to the UK salary range structure and ensure correct implementation in the HRIS.
- Run monthly report of UK salary range data from HRIS and maintain UK salary range file for HRBP's
- Proactive communication of the UK benefits package to promote staff awareness and understanding, through a range of marketing activities eg benefits & 'wellbeing' days, emails, poster, portal campaigns etc.
- Interface with REHQ HR team and provide any required data regarding RE-wide benefits plans eg healthcare, and senior reward programmes, eg RE stock option plans, total reward statements
- Monitor HMRC updates regarding fuel reimbursement rates for business mileage and communicate any changes to iExpenses team and employees
- Coordinate & provide required data for UK insurance benefits renewals - Travel, PHI, life assurance, etc.
- Provide job coding advice to UK HRBPs, review all UK JIC and resolve issues with incorrect job code selections.
- Create new job code requests or changes to existing codes

KEY SKILLS REQUIRED:

- Sound understanding of reward principles & practices
- Excellent computer literacy in particular Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook (must be an advanced user of Excel).
- Good knowledge of HRIS systems and processes, particularly PeopleSoft
- Strong analytical skills
- High level of numeracy
- Basic project management skills and experience

QULIFICATIONS:

- Educated to undergraduate degree level preferred, but not necessary
- Proven analytical skills in previous roles
- Previous experience in HR roles, preferably with specialist experience of compensation & benefits. (Ideally min of 2 years)
