Revenue Management Officer

Our client is seeking a Revenue Management Officer to contribute to the overall finance activities including the assessment of requests, notifications, reconciliations and reports.

Your duties will include:

- Provide support to the Senior Revenue Management Officer, Finance Manager and other team members with coordinating funds management activities
- Manage and complete allocation of funds management activities with accuracy and to schedules
- Provide expert advice, support, and input regarding Revenue Management including opportunities for improving efficiency, effectiveness, compliance and controls
- Assess proposed settlement adjustments resolving any settlement discrepancies
- Check for unexplained variances in settlement reports, reconciliation balances, transactions and other financial items
- Prepare daily cash and investments position report
- Reconcile bank fees and end-of-period accounts
- Maintain adequate records of activities, issues related to funds management to support contract management, process improvement and audit requirements

Your background:

- Minimum 3+ years experience in a similar role with a proven ability to meet critical deadlines
- EXTENSIVE WORKING EXPERIENCE IN ACCOUNTING, including reconciliation and analysis, with highly developed numeracy and accuracy skills and attention to detail
- Highly developed investigative, analytical and problem solving skills
- Demonstrated experience working in revenue/funds management, or with financial settlement operations or similar in a fast-paced environment
- Advanced computer, Microsoft Excel and accounting system skills, including experience with spreadsheets, databases, word processing, electronic communication, SAP finance modules, CODA general ledger and Crystal Reporting
- Excellent communication skills in a service oriented environment
- An accounting, commerce or business degree, or similar
