Revenue Analyst

DESCRIPTION:

A new position has arisen for a Revenue Analyst to join the finance team of a global investment management firm in Edinburgh on an initial 6 month contract. The role holder will assist in preparation of income estimates, projections and forecasts.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Review Client Agreements for new accounts and ensure that invoices and calculations are set up correctly
- Review schedules of Outstanding Fees, record receipts and reconcile monthly
- Ensure the monitoring and following up of overdue invoices, escalating as required to ensure that issues are resolved timeously
- Ensure that documented SOX controls are followed
- Assist in the migration of data from a manual to an automated solution
- Assist in the development of SOX controls around the automated solution
- Assist in the development of automated reporting of revenue, to include exception and geographical

CORE REQUIREMENTS:

- Intermediate/advanced user of excel
- Previous project experience
- SOX experience considered an advantage
- A background in the investment industry would be an advantage.
