Retoucher

Our client is a major online retailer who requires an experienced retoucher. This role will best suit an individual who thrives under pressure, is well organised, pragmatic, can manage issues, decisions and stakeholders and most importantly, puts our customers first.

The ideal candidate will form Key Relationships with:
UK Marketing stakeholders
GMO Packaging stakeholders
Publishing stakeholders
External suppliers

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
*Responsible for image quality on a variety of imagery including
*Lifestyle - furniture and packaging
*Cut outs - simple and complex
*Fashion - skin tones and clothing

Skills

*Mac literate using Wacom tablet
*The removal of lens dust, colour noise, visible artefacts, reflections
*Create compositions, textures, reflections, highlights and shadows
*Blend together multi-part composites seamlessly and naturally
*Control depth of field (blur background) crease removal from fabrics
*Use of Selection Tools (Quick mask, Path, Colour Range, Refine Edges and Masks)
*Use of Transform Tools (Perspective, Warp and Liquify)
*Work with Adjustment layers, Blending Modes, Actions, Channels (create Alpha channels) Colour profiles, Colour matching, RGB to CMYK conversions
*Knowledge of Adobe Bridge and colour calibration
Experience required
