Retail Banking Product Manager - Contract

Our client, a leading bank, is currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity within the Personal Current Accounts team, working within a confidential project team. This is an immediate contract vacancy based in London with the manager looking to book in Interviews in the next week.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES:

- Ensuring that the team understand the technical structure of our current account products to ensure our products continue to work in the way we and our customers expect them to
- Leading the development and management product and process changes, including securing relevant sign offs
- Leading the development of policies and customer treatments
- Putting processes in place to ensure risks are effectively identified and escalated
- Ensuring that the team hits project milestones within the team on time and on budget
- Leading engagement with key stakeholders (eg, customer insight teams, finance, IT, business delivery, other product areas), and with our channels (Telephone Bank, Community Bank, Digital) to make sure we deliver all of the above as efficiently as possible.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL BE:

- Passionate about the customer and creative in how to continuously improve the experience the products deliver
- Experience of working on projects and effective in planning and controlling work streams
- Able to deliver through others
- Comfortable taking decisions and using their judgment when necessary whilst clearly articulating the risks and benefits of key decisions
- Relentlessly focused on getting results
- Able to build and manage effective relationships with key stakeholders
