£100 per day/1 month contract

A fantastic opportunity has surfaced for a Resource Planner/Forecaster to work within a large multi-national organisation, specialising in the Insurance industry. This great Resource Planner/Forecaster opportunity is open to a Resource Planner/Forecaster that can successfully demonstrate comprehensive experience in using Workforce Planning methodology to resource against customer demand forecasts and in conjunction with each business areas targets within a contact centre environment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide short/medium forecasts which are accurate within 5%+/- of contact volumes.
* Decision-Making: To make pro-active and reactive resourcing decisions based upon available information, ensuring that Service Level targets are attained and balanced with colleagues work/life balance, using the appropriate systems to make decisions.
* Planning: To maintain up-to-date recruitment plans and effective intra-day flexibility to achieve target Grade of Service. Holding regular shift review meetings with front line colleagues and reviewing rota cycles, optimising working patterns, whilst building in flexible working requests. Making pro-active resourcing decisions and suggesting any changes to current Forecasting & Scheduling processes.

Essential Skills

* Strong planning background with understanding of forecasting volumes and contact rates along with delivering work schedules
* Experience with working with data (Excel minimum requirement) and able to analyse multiple data sources and draw conclusions
* Methodical approach to fault finding and problem solving
* Exposure to influencing at senior level
* Good level of Excel and Powerpoint know-how
* Experience in Matrix management structures

Desirable Skills

* Experience of working with planning tools that are fit for purpose.
* Previous operational experience
* Previous Insurance industry experience
* Experience in writing own programmes to deliver forecasts, schedules and predictors for service levels
