Resource Planner & Performance Analyst - 12 month contract - Worcester

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for management and allocation of all distribution resources. The role will require constant improvement and development of resource placement with regard to customer and product demands.

Responsibilities

- Resource planning & Performance analysis.
- Day to day management of an energy distribution resource.
- Allocation of the distribution resource, ensuring shifts have appropriate coverage, moving vehicles and drivers accordingly to meet internal & external requirements/SLA's.
- Providing solutions for resource shortfalls, ensuring drivers and vehicles are always flexible for ever changing work patterns/shifts.
- Carry out cost saving exercises, suggest these to line management with the view of implementing them.
- Delivering weekly objectives to the planners in relation to hours and resource management.

A strong background working within the Logistics/Haulage industry would be highly advantageous.
