Resource Manager - 3 Month Contract - Middlesex (Commutable from Surrey, Berkshire, Hertfordshire, London, Buckinghamshire, Greater London, Hampshire) - Resource Management, Clarity, Scheduling,

My client, a FTSE100 company are looking for a Resource Manager (with good exposure to Clarity) for a 3 month initial contract.

The successful candidate will have the following skills/knowledge: -
* To be responsible for the ongoing management of the resource management process for IS, ensuring the process reflects the needs of all key stakeholders.
* To be responsible for managing the pipeline of new work requests received into the Resource Management Department for your Functional area(s) remit and to be able to forward plan and prioritise appropriately to make the best use of the resources available to deliver consistently and repeatedly within given constraints.
* To provide support for planning, prioritising, coordinating and allocating resources (time, effort and money).
* To support the Resource & Capacity Planning Manager with creating in-week, in-month, in-year and 3 year plans and by creating regular and ad-hoc reports (eg demand vs supply, resources, and finance).

Skills

Planning
- Provide support in prioritising and managing team's and own workload.
- Forward plan, prioritise and schedule work requests to resources, managing the forward view of resources and resolving conflicting priorities, escalating where necessary
- Create and maintain a list of the work requests and their priority
- Track and monitor work requests through estimating and planning
- Be aware of future business requirements and their impact on resource demand building and maintaining relationships across the wider IS organisation

Financial Responsibilities
- Support the IS Finance Team in the production of a timely and accurate financial resource forecasts.
- Review and sign-off reconciliations between timesheets and invoices and input into the financial postings process.

Operational Responsibilities
- Review new work requests received by the Functional areas and Programme/Project Managers and create an end to end view of demand and comparing it against supply.
- Produce reports for the management team:
- Track projects from pre-initiation to initiation in terms of the demand, resource and finance profiles
- Provide resource options for spikes in demand, this includes working through scenarios to establish different options
- Support the management team to create key resource reports required by the business and/or the IS Leadership Team
- Ensure adherence of maintaining the document library ensuring that individuals upload documents as appropriate
- Support analysis of work requests in the pipeline to provide a view of resource requirements for different scenarios
- Additional resource management duties as required by the Senior IS Leads.
