Residential Support Workers

£14,106 to £18,319 plus sleep in allowance
(Full Time and bank contract hours available).

This is a unique opportunity to join our exciting and expanding organisation. We require new team members for our residential homes. Our two children's homes offer an excellent service for up to five children (in each), who are aged nine to eighteen, and our other home offers a service to four young people aged sixteen plus. We meet the needs of vulnerable children and young people who may be experiencing a range of difficulties such as Moderate Learning Difficulties, Emotional, Behavioural and Social Difficulties, Autistic Spectrum Disorder, and/or mental health needs.

We require those who genuinely enjoy the rewards and challenges of working with children and young people. You will need to be motivated, compassionate and be required to balance sound judgement with a sense of fun. You must appreciate the need for a therapeutic teamwork approach and be able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.

Essentially, you will have relevant professional experience, and possess suitable qualifications. A willingness to train is expected and the ability to work flexible 'shift' hours, including weekends, evenings and sleep-ins is essential, as is the need for a full driving licence and DBS clearance.
