Resident Network Engineer - Russia/Yekaterinburg (Ural) - Network, IP

RESIDENT NETWORK ENGINEER - RUSSIA/YEKATERINBURG (URAL) - NETWORK, IP, ROUTER, JUNOS

I am urgently looking for an experienced technical consultant to provide operational and testing onsite support for a suite of network products. You'll be responsible for design validation, testing, implementation support and knowledge transfer to customers.

Key experience:

- Technical requirements and network design
- Testing implementation/installation and release in a SP environment
- Troubleshooting, including resolution and documentation
- Training and knowledge transfer to clients

Key technical areas:

- IPv4 and IPv6, IP subnetting and supernetting and hierarchical routing principles.
- Routing Protocols - OSPF, IS-IS, BGP
- VPNs L2 and L3 (L2TP, MPLS, etc.)
- QoS/CoS, Multicast
- Strong EX/MX and preferably QFX
- Experience with working with Juniper Networks equipment, JUNOS and ideally Juniper E-series and BRAS technologies
- Knowledge of Network Implementation best practices.

This a very long term contract and will be working for a well know brand, the role will be based in Yekaterinburg (Ural) and will involve some travel, the ideal Engineer will have in-depth experience with active network components and the protocols surrounding IP Service Provider networks is required.
