Reservoir Engineering Technician - Houston

Duties * Conduct IHS/HPDI searches/downloads * Format and load production data (Client/IHS/HPDI) * High proficiency with ARIES including - 1 Building ARIES cases 2 Making and checking ARIES runs 3 Troubleshooting ARIES databases 4 Preparing Access queries and managing database of standard queries 5 Preparing Ad Hoc reports from Aries databases for various purposes * Providing materials for document preparation - 1 Summary tables for reports and offering materials 2 Reserve Reports - cashflows and one-line summaries 3 Production Plots * Reviewing and formatting both text and summary technical information for publication on DVD and Virtual Data Room * Managing the receipt, storage and distribution of data received from clients * Building and manipulating EXCEL spreadsheets - 1 Pivot tables 2 Data analysis 3 Statistics SkillsCandidate MUST have * 5+ years of relevant experience * College Degree * High degree of proficiency with ARIES * Proficiency in Office programs - especially EXCEL and ACCESS * Strong math skills * Very good organizational and verbal skills Very Helpful * Proficiency in PHDWin * Experience doing ARIES to PHDWin conversions *Occasional travel may be required*
