Reservoir Engineer-Simulations

Reservoir Simulations Engineer is urgently needed to fill a position in downtownHoustonwith a publicly traded E&P company.

Progressive Global Energy & Natural Resources specializes in delivering first-rate professionals to the Oil & Gas industry. I work specifically with Petrophysicist and have been hired to execute an executive search to fill this role as soon as possible.

Responsibilities:

* Work with Reservoir Department and Sub-surface team in designing, planning and conducting analytical and numerical simulation modeling studies to support future development plans, project economics and reserve determination
* Work with completion engineers and the multi-disciplinary teams to evaluate completion options, maximize fracture stimulation effectiveness and optimize stimulation cost
* Analytical modeling including Rate Transient Analysis, Advanced Decline Curve Analysis, Uncertainty analysis
* Fracture Stimulation modeling, Well Test Analysis, Mini-frac analysis,
* Economic analysis of completed projects and future programs
* Reserve Determination support including Statistical Analysis
* Numerical Simulation modeling including data gathering and analysis, single and multi-well model construction and history matching, forecast projections and sensitivity analysis to guide future development plans

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering and 3 or more years experience in analytical and numerical modeling with an emphasis on shale and unconventional reservoirs.
* Experience in fracture stimulation modeling, petro-physical analysis, rock mechanics, PVT systems is helpful. Experience with Fekete Harmony/RTA, Eclipse, CMG,Petra, Aries, Crystal Ball, Frac Pro PT is helpful
