My client, an expanding hedge fund is seeking a Research Support Analyst. The fund is rapidly expanding and is seeking to grow by 20% this year so this is an exciting time to join! They are seeking a technologist to support their Researchers. The position requires you to provide 1st/2nd and 3rd line application support for them. This is a global team with piers based in the US and Singapore. You must a strong technical background with experience in SQL, UNIX/Linux and Perl Scripting. Any knowledge of C++ is advantageous. The client has very high academic requirements so you must have a 2:1 or above university degree in a technical subject (Computer Science, Engineering, Physics etc) from a recognised educational institution. A postgraduate or PhD is highly advantageous. The fund offers a highly competitive basic and has an excellent bonus scheme. This is a permanent position based in their London offices.
