Research Scientist/Software Engineers (Object Detection)

My client is looking for a Research Scientist/Software Engineer to help develop innovative solutions in the field of automated object and change detection using data sources such as panoramic images, aerial images, LiDAR point clouds, image based point clouds, and map based data layers.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
My client offers the opportunity to work with experienced researchers in a flexible and creative industrial research environment on cutting edge technologies. As part of a research team, the applicant will be responsible for designing and developing new algorithms in the field of automated object/change detection. Applications are solicited from individuals with a strong background in computer vision and related areas, having proven implementation skills.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- University degree in Computer Vision, Computer Science, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, Geodesy/Photogrammetry or related discipline;
- Strong theoretical and practical background in computer vision, machine learning and image analysis/processing;
- Software development in C/C++;
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a can-do attitude, initiative, creativity and flexibility, decision-making ability as well as result oriented and strategic thinking;
- Strong collaboration skills, the ability to work independently and prioritize work and to thrive in a fast-paced environment;
- Proven ability to develop new research ideas and early developments to the level of a working system prototypeKeywords.
