Research/Reporting Accountant

DESCRIPTION:

Prepare various sections of the annual Form 10-K and quarterly Form 10-Q for filing with the SEC, including XBRL for financials and footnotes. Prepare schedules and supporting documentation for various other financial filings and internal management use. Research technical accounting questions and analyze various issues to determine the appropriate accounting treatment. Assist with the interpretation and implementation of new accounting and financial reporting standards issued by the FASB, EITF, SEC, and other standard-setting agencies. Prepare technical accounting memos, emails, and presentations to communicate conclusions and educate others. Maintain and update documentation related to company accounting policies. Document and maintain procedures specific to financial reporting.

Prepare disclosures included in the annual Form 10-K and quarterly Form 10-Q for the SEC. This includes financial statements, footnotes, management's discussionOperates under moderate supervision.
