The Research Lab Specialist in the Developmental Neurobiology Department assists the principal investigator with the collection and analysis of data for specified research projects. Performs laboratory experiments with minimal supervision, learning and developing new procedures. Manages specific, but limited, laboratory functions and trains laboratory personnel. Demonstrates effort to increase knowledge of a specific area of research and participates in the presentation and/or publication of research results. Properly conducts specific projects and maintains efficient laboratory operations. Performs other duties as assigned or directed in order to meet the goals and objectives of the department and the institution.
