RESEARCH ASSOCIATE needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, CA

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Experience in developing or implementing proteomic/immunoassay or cell-based assays
- Experience with immunoassays preferred
- B.S. degree with at least three (3) years lab experience

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- A temp position within the Biochemical and Cellular Pharmacology group.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting specific projects in the Immunology and/or Infectious Disease therapeutic areas as part of the biologics drug discovery program in our South San Francisco location.
- Specifically, this individual will need to have extensive experience in biotherapeutic discovery and development in immunology with an emphasis on developing, validating, and performing immunochemical, biochemical, and cell-based assays to support candidate selection, quantification, potency, and immunogenicity evaluation.
- In addition, the individual will be expected to incorporate assay automation in his/her daily work and employ novel assay technologies.

- Strong verbal communication, writing, and listening skills, as well as interpersonal skills required.
- Experience with immunoassays preferred.
- Assay development experience is preferred.
- Strong demonstrated organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to develop, optimize and follow standardized analytical processes
- Experience in developing or implementing proteomic/immunoassay or cell-based assays is a plus.
- Interest/enthusiasm for working with new technology platforms and developing new applications.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a highly collaborative environment.
- Competent in using various data analysis software, Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- B.S. degree with at least 3 years lab experience.
