RESEARCH ASSOCIATE needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, CA

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- We are seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic and independent Research Associate/Senior Research Associate Contract Position to join the Clinical Pharmacology Group in the Department of Development Sciences.
- The candidate will provide technical support for the pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic assessment of drug candidates and marketed products.
- The overall scope and focus of this position is to support clinical pharmacology assessments in drug development.
- The successful candidate will be expected to effectively collaborate with colleagues in data programming to facilitate the transfer of data sets, conduct various data analyses as required, represent his/her functional area at team meetings to present data, contribute to the writing of study reports and documentation that support regulatory filings, and work independently or under the direct supervision of a manager.
- The candidate may also be required to perform QC of documents and literature searches to provide scientific backgrounds for the designs of clinical studies.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Two (2) or more years of relevant experience in pharmacokinetic analysis, preferable in the Biotechnology or Pharmaceutical Industry, organizing data for presentations and study reports.
- Senior Research Associate will require minimum of eight (8) years of relevant experience.
- Experience in Phoenix WinNolin;, statistical data analysis, and graph plotting software such as SigmaPlot;, R, S-Plus or similar programming language is preferred.
- Strong analytical, organization, and communication skills, attention to detail, as well as working effectively in a multidisciplinary team setting are essential.

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- A BA or BS in Statistics, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, other life science or related field is required (MS is a plus).
