RESEARCH ASSOCIATE needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, CA.

- Compound management
- Automated liquid handler

What You'll Be Doing:
- The individual will be instrumental in processing Med Chem and purchased small molecules for daily lead optimization orders as well as the UHTS libraries.
- These tasks will include weighing, solubilizing and plating samples using a mixture of manual, semi-automated and fully automated processes.
- The individual will be expected to use inventory software (Mosaic) to track and deliver high quality samples to client's internal and external customers.
- The individual will also be expected to store and retrieve samples from the automated and manual stores.
- Close collaboration with the assay group, medicinal chemists and other members of the small molecule drug discovery program will be essential for success.

What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- BS in Biology or Chemistry or a related field required.
- Knowledge of basic scientific principles, attention to detail, good organizational skills and good communication skills.

Bonus Points! Otherwise Known As Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in compound management is a plus.
- Prior experience with automated liquid handlers and inventory software a plus.
