SENIOR RESEARCH ASSOCIATE needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in South San Francisco, CA.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Seeking an experienced individual for a Research Associate/Sr Research Associate within the Biochemical and Cellular Pharmacology group.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting specific projects in the Neurosciences therapeutic area as part of the biologics drug discovery program in our South San Francisco location.
- Specifically, this individual will need to have extensive experience in therapeutic antibody drug discovery with an emphasis on developing, validating and performing immunochemical, biochemical and cell-based assays to support therapeutic candidate selection, quantitation and potency evaluation as well as pharmacodynamic biomarker measurements.
- In addition, the individual will be expected to incorporate assay automation in his/her daily work.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- S./M.S. in Neuroscience, Biochemistry, Cell Biology, or a related field is required
- At least six (6) years of biotechnology or pharmaceutical experience.
- Proven expertise in quantitative immunoassays and cell based assays
- Additional experience with Real Time qPCR, Incucyte or automation
- The candidate should possess excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, strong oral/written communication skills, the ability to multitask and good experience with interdepartmental or external collaborations.
