What You'll Be Doing:

- Seeking a highly motivated temporary Research Associate (RA) to participate in the characterization of biopharmaceuticals in the product development pipeline.
- The RA will develop, optimize and implement quantitative immunoassays to measure therapeutic molecule levels, biomarkers and/or to detect and characterize anti-therapeutic immune responses in biological matrices to support pre-clinical and clinical studies.
- This will involve manual laboratory work, the use of automation systems, and participation in compliance and safety related activities.
- All RAs are expected to contribute to departmental activities, laboratory upkeep and maintenance. The RA will work with her/his manager, with members of multifunctional teams, and with customers to ensure that project needs are met.
- This individual will work in a fast-paced and highly collaborative team-based environment to design and run experiments, interpret data and troubleshoot technical problems, write technical reports, and present data at cross functional project team meetings.

What You Need to Bring to the Table:

- BA/BS in Biological Sciences or equivalent with three to five (3 - 5) years of hands-on laboratory experience in developing quantitative immunoassays.
- Hands-on laboratory experience in developing quantitative immunoassays and practical knowledge and understanding of standard laboratory procedures and computerized data handling are essential.
- Familiarity with biochemistry, cellular and molecular biology methods would be an important advantage.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills are required.
- This individual must be a good team player and should be able to work independently as well as with a group, to multi-task and prioritize work well, and to consistently demonstrate initiative and creativity.
