RESEARCH ASSOCIATE needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh's client located in Dixon, CA.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- It would also include working with automated liquid handling equipment, an ABI 3730 sequencer and may involve setting up Taqman assays.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Responsibilities for this position would include DNA extraction, sample handling, manual and robotic PCR set up, data entry and general lab duties such as stocking supplies and maintaining lab cleanliness.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Experience in molecular techniques is preferred and knowledge of automated lab equipment is desired.
- Must possess excellent skills in communication, organization and flexibility plus an eagerness to learn.
- Must work well with others and be a team player.
- Must be capable of performing routine tasks with accuracy and great attention to detail.
- Must be willing to work with potentially hazardous materials while adhering to health and safety guidelines.
- Experience with Excel is necessary.
- Training for assigned duties will be provided.

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- A Bachelors degree in Sciences or equivalent experience.
