RESEARCH ASSOCIATE II needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Chesterfield, MO.

The Big Picture - Top Skills You Should Possess:
- Software Development under Linux/Unix
- Programming languages (Perl, Python, JAVA, C/C++)
- HTP sequencing

What You'll Be Doing:
- Running QC pipeline and review the QC results for each sequencing project
- Maintain and troubleshoot QC pipeline
- Develop data management software tools
- Bioinformatics data analysis on sequencing data

What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- Bachelor's degree in bioinformatics, computational, scientific or a related field of study
- Direct experience in bioinformatics data analysis (sequencing)
- Experience interacting with biology research and IT scientist
- Knowledge of HTP sequencing
- Proficient with Linux/Unix, Perl, Python, JAVA, C/C++

Bonus Points! Otherwise Known As Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in Quality Control
