Research Associate II Job

RESEARCH ASSOCIATE II needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh's client located in Thousand Oaks, CA.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- The successful candidate will become part of a multidisciplinary effort focusing on identification and quantitation of extractables and leachables from product contact materials.
- The position will require working in a laboratory setting providing analytical support and expertise in structure elucidation of mixtures containing organic and inorganic materials by executing experiments using various analytical instruments such as LC/MS, GC/MS and HPLC/UV.
- The position will also require interpretation of data derived from the aforementioned techniques and writing technical reports.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Doctorate degree OR
- Master's degree and two (2) years of scientific experience OR
- Bachelor's degree and five (5) years of scientific experience

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Experience in the use of mass spectrometry to characterize trace impurities in pharmaceuticals and therapeutic proteins.
- Accomplished in structural elucidation techniques, including accurate mass determination and MSn data interpretation.
- Experience in the use of ion trap/electrostatic orbital ion trap MS instrument platforms.
- Experience in the operation of HPLC and GCMS systems.
