Title: Research Associate
Location: Mountain View, CA

Our client in Mountain View, CA is seeking a talented Research Associate for an exciting opportunity. As a Research Associate you will be responsible for developing and implementing our client's marketing research vision. This research will inform future marketing strategy and help businesses to make the most of the web. You must have analytical horsepower and business judgment to help launch research projects that illustrate and support the impact of advertising and media. The ideal candidate will support research stakeholders from sales, marketing and product teams. This is a research-oriented yet creative position that requires a sharp, analytical mind and an entrepreneurial spirit.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Partner with research and sales to develop and test tools, templates and frameworks to streamline and scale client analyses
Gather and use data from different internal and external sources and turn it into insights that help clients realize their opportunities.
Develop scalable and leading edge solutions for client(s) in order to optimize their advertising expenditures and maximize use of Google products (Search, Video, Display, Mobile. etc.)

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
Experience in advertising sales, marketing, consulting, or media.
Ability to speak and write in English fluently and idiomatically.
Preferred qualifications
3 years of analytical work, working with data
Proficiency with complex spreadsheets/analysis
Proven ability to work cooperatively and proactively with staff inside and outside the department.
Proven track record in high productivity and meeting deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience in media planning and advertising effectiveness research.
Expertise with a variety of research methodologies - particularly as it pertains to online advertising.
A track record executing quantitative advertising analysis
