Research Assistant

SUMMARY:
Seeking a highly motivated scientist with excellent documentation skills who is able to contribute in a multi-disciplinary team setting, prioritize and perform multiple tasks in a dynamic environment, and execute detailed technical protocols meticulously.

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

- Most critical skill: 2-5 years of lab research experience with Molecular Techniques/Molecular Biology.
- BS or MS in biological sciences or related field.
- Experience in more than one of the following: Mammalian cell culture and cell lines, large scale DNA assembly and characterization, genetic recombination technology, next-generation sequencing, computational methods and tools for analysis, and statistics.
- Biological experience in one of the following: Molecular biology, protein engineering, immunology, or cell biology.
- Strong organizational, analytical, problem solving, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team and on individual projects.
- Specific skills in flow cytometry and programming ideal.
- Some local travel required.
