Research and Development Fellow Job

RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT FELLOW needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Wilmington, DE.

THE BIG PICTURE:

With guidance from supervision, primary responsibility is to assist technical personnel in general laboratory operations and routine laboratory or information handling tasks in support of scientific research. Perform tasks according to accepted methods and training prescribed by the work group.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Identifies, assesses and develops new scientific concepts/technologies in basic or applied research which have significant business impact on the global marketplace.
- Carries out demanding programs/studies at the highest level of sophistication.
- Develops creative solutions to apparently unsolvable problems.
- Recognized for technical leadership and innovation in the field of scientific expertise.
- Represents the research community to other parts of the organization and the outside world.
- Technology guardian for areas of expertise.
- May also have team leader responsibilities.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- BS/MS in Biochemistry/Biotechnology, Cell Biology, Immunology or related field
- Minimum of five (5) years of PHARMA/BIOTECH INDUSTRIAL EXPERIENCE
