Research and Analytics Officer - Public Health

Our local authority client is looking for a number of Interim Research and Analytics Officers to deliver proactive support and key research and evaluation in support of People and Place commissioners during the 'analyse' and 'review' phases of a commissioning cycle, and to the wider organisation in the understanding and analysis of demographic modelling, customer engagement, and demand trends to maximise opportunities - as well as providing the early warning system for areas of underperformance and non-delivery relating to specific outcomes.

This will require the gathering and analysis of a very broad range of data and evidence, including: performance of current providers; changes to the external market; demographic growth and population change; qualitative feedback from customers and service users; and the development of an evidence-based approach to measuring service delivery.

You will require experience of researching information, presenting and analysing data for commissioning intelligence, and have significant knowledge of using technical methods and tools to obtain or enhance the value of information. Experience of statistical modelling within the context of social care/commissioning and/or public health essential.
