Currently we are looking for a Requirements Engineer to join our client's team in Zurich.

OVERVIEW OF BUSINESS AREA OR PROJECT:

An alternative investments fund manager located in Zurich is further building out the functionalities of its trading and analytics IT platform. To support the development team, the fund manager is looking for a motivated individual with experience of how to test and improve the quality of trading applications.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Act as the primary Q/A and tester in the agile development process, this includes:

- Implement and maintain formal testing process and end user training
- Plan and conduct the business user acceptance testing and end user trainings
- Set up and maintain the manual regression testing suite
- Creation of automated tests
- Keep training and functionality documentation up to date
- Coordinate resolution of issues raised by the end users
- Develop MIS report for development, testing and support

CHALLENGES CONTRACTOR WILL BE FACING IN THIS ROLE:

A big challenge which will be faced is the changing requirements and the reprioritization of work due to the closeness we work with the business.

Also as the team is relatively small, each person must be motivated and is expected to take active ownership and responsibility to solve issues and get things done.

DESIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

- Previous experience with interactive mock-up tools and agile tools (JIRA)
- Higher Education, such as Bachelor Degree in Computer Science
