For our banking client based in Zurich we are currently looking for a
Requirements Engineer Tax
Location: Zurich
Start date: ASAP
Duration: 12 months
Languages: English and German
ROLE OVERVIEW:
- supports business in its duties through IT support and document it to provide a common understanding between the client who use the application and the IT people who built, test and maintain it now and in the future
- understand business drivers and what needs to be delivered from a business point of view
- obtain understanding of and commitment to requirements
- develop, manage, estimate dimensions and consolidate information on the requirements of the project's customers, products and product components according to the requirements engineering process
- identify synergies, redundancies and inconsistencies between the requirements and the project's plans, work products, business strategy and the overall context in applicational and technical architecture
KEY DELIVERABLES:
- elicit and elaborate requirements
- model and Document requirements understandable for clients and subsequence roles within IT
- ensure that specification of the user's needs is accurate, complete and unambiguous
- maintain traceability between requirements and between requirements and requests
- identify impact of changes on the existing requirements
- provide inputs to a first test strategy for the application
- provide input to the Project Manager for prioritizing requirements
- supports testing phase by giving input, review test strategy and test cases
MANDATORY EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- university degree or similar education preferably in information technology or information management
- requirements engineering experiences within financial institutions of > 6 years
- solid theoretical understanding and practical experience of use case modelling (UML) in IT projects
- working-experience within a bank IT environment
- knowledge of securities, single accounts, bookkeeping
- well experienced in stakeholder involvement and management
BENEFICIAL EXPERIENCE:
- IREB Certified Professional for Requirements Engineering or a similar certificate
- experience in using tools like JIRA, Enterprise Architect 9.x
- background in software development processes/life cycle
- understanding of financial instruments
- project management experience
- well banking-knowhow about tax, namely about Final Withholding Tax, European Withholding Tax or US Withholding Tax
