BUSINESS ANALYST
LOCATION: ZURICH
CONTRACT ROLE: 6 MONTHS
Experis IT Switzerland is urgently looking for a Business Analyst to join one of their clients in Zurich, a globally renowned organization with a fantastic brand! For this role we are looking for a candidate ideally with experience in a similar role to start ASAP who can speak fluent English.
Job description:
- You will participate in projects with key Asset management clients across the software services value chain: application development/enhancement/migration/product implementation and reverse engineering.
- You will perform business requirements/gap analysis, propose relevant solutions for onboarding (clients/Product/Portfolio) for the asset manager
- You will provide detailed functional specifications of the requirements to the development team.
- You will communicate, coordinate and assist with various development and user teams (onsite and off shore) in different phases of Software Development Life Cycle. Design and follow up on action-plans.
- You will prepare test plans and perform the functional testing for validation of business requirements implementation.
- You will anticipate issues and escalate to key internal and external stakeholders.
- You will maintain traceability Matrix for changes to the application, system issues, resolution and document implementation plan for upcoming enhancements to the applications.
- You will provide training to business users.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
- The domain knowledge should include good understanding of the securities & capital markets landscape and an in-depth understanding Asset/Wealth Management business processes.
- You should have a good understanding of client onboarding and client life cycle management processes in financial services/asset management.
- You will have hands on experience in requirements engineering, process mapping and creating workflows
- You will have knowledge of BPM tools like Aris/Appian and client onboarding tools like Appway, Fenergo is desirable but not essential.
- You will have good communication skills, team spirit, strong analytical thinking, listening & questioning skills, and client interfacing skills.
- Minimum 3 years BA/RE experience with BFSI clients preferably Asset Management clients
- Minimum 5 years of overall IT experience
