Requirements Engineer - German Speaking - Banking

IT Business Analyst/Requirements Engineer sought by our client, a large investment bank to assist a large project of work to improve reporting functionality.

This is an initial 12 month contract based in Luzern

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Analyze business requirements with workshops, interviews, discussions etc.
- Document requirements with features list, diagrams, business rules, prototypes etc.
- Manage changes to requirements
- Perform testing (pre and integration) to ensure application stability and maturity
- Analyze defects from testing cycles and track bug fixing.
- Support production issues
- Analyze business problems in the DB with SQL queries

REQUIREMENTS

- Experience in business analysis and IT requirements engineering
- Any understanding of the following topics would be an asset: UML, XML, Web-Services, data modelling, SQL, MQ/JMS, Web UI/Java applications development projects (as an engineer or analyst)
- Good PowerPoint, excel, word and presentations skills
- Experience with agile methodologies
- Fluent German and English
