Requirements Engineer for Money Market Trading

Our client, a major international bank, is currently looking for a Senior Requirements Engineer.
Activities include:
- Analyse and model business requirements and the functionality that support the transactions in the money market or trading/collateral data reports
- Gather information from a broad range of individuals and stakeholders who interact with the business such as customers, staff, IT professionals, and business executives
- Elicit the requirements of stakeholders and synthesize these into viable functional specifications that meet these requirements
- Collaborate with implementation teams to ensure proper implementation.
Required Skills:
- University degree or equivalent graduation
- Knowledge of money market trading or collateral management is a big advantage.
- Solid theoretical understanding and practical experience of modelling in analysis projects using well known notations (eg UML)
- Knowledge and experience in using analysis methods (eg structured analysis, Object Oriented Analysis, event driven approaches)
- Experience in using tools like Enterprise Architect
- Experience in the Finance Industry with regard to business concepts, requirements and standards, in particular from an end-to-end processing and value chain perspective
- Good communication skills and the demonstrable ability to communicate appropriately at all levels of the organization; this includes written and verbal communications in German and English
- The ability to act as liaison conveying information in suitably accurate models between the business unit and their counterparts within Information Technology
- Team-player, goal-oriented, self-dependent, highly motivated to work in challenging environment at all levels of an organization
- Proactive, solution-oriented, self-motivated, innovative, flexible
- Ability to prioritize and re-prioritize around changing organizational objectives and timescales
