Requirements Engineer (Contract)

For an international financial institution in Lucerne we are seeking a highly motivated professional to take up the following challenge:

REQUIREMENTS ENGINEER (CONTRACT)

JOB DESCRIPTION

- Analyse business requirements with workshops, interviews, discussions etc.
- Document requirements with features list, diagrams, business rules, prototypes etc.
- Create solution proposals and estimations together with the software engineers
- Manages changes to requirements and ensures traceability
- Perform pre-testing to ensure application stability and maturity for integration testing
- Analyse defects from testing cycles and track bug fixing
- Support production issues with problem analysis and professional incident communication
- Understand the technical setup of the applications
- Analyse business problems in the DB with SQL queries

REQUIREMENTS

- Long-term experience in business analysis and IT requirements engineering with excellent knowledge of processes and documentations
- Solid understanding of UML, XML, Web-Services, Datamodelling, SQL, MQ/JMS
- Experience in Web UI/Java applications development projects (as an engineer or analyst)
- Good PowerPoint, excel, word and presentations skills
- Experience with agile methodologies (scrum/iterative, JIRA, stories)
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
- Effective and solution oriented, team player
- PROFICIENT IN GERMAN AND ENGLISH

CONTRACT DETAILS

- Start: ASAP
- Daily Rate: CHF 750 - 760 all inclusive
- Duration: 12 months
- Location: Lucerne
