Requirements Engineer/Business Analyst

We are looking to find a responsible and open minded Requirement Engineer/Business analyst who adds value to our client's team during the new Margin Requirements Program . Our client is an international Swiss Bank, based in Zurich.
ROLE OVERVIEW
The potential candidate would work with the Trading Limit Systems (Risk Management system, principally for OTC derivatives).
Role is to support the new Margin Requirements Programme initiative, a bank wide response to the BCBS (241)/IOSCO paper for Margin requirements.
Significant changes will be required in the TLS application exposure calculation to take account of any margin exchanged within these rules.
The role is for the key onshore analyst for the TLS team on this regulator initiative who will additionally help coordinate the work of 1-2 offshore analysts.
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL BE EXPECTED TO
- Elicits, analyzes, documents and validates business requirements, conditions and priorities within an application development project in the Credit risk Domain
- Ensures that specified requirements are transmitted entirely and correctly to the development and test team members by writing clear and detailed functional specifications
- Supports developers and testers by resolving business issues that come up during the technical implementation
- Supports the test team in testing activities, when necessary
KEY DELIVERABLES
- Provide standard requirements engineering deliverables (Use Case Model, Use Cases, User Stories Business Rule Specifications, Screen Specifications, Non Functional Requirements Specifications) on time and with high quality and ensure business signoff
- Effort estimations and task planning for Requirements Engineering related project tasks
MUST SKILLS
- Degree at university level (preferably in IT or Banking)
- 5 or more years of experience in requirements engineering in application development projects
- Experience in banking or finance industry preferably focusing on risk management or front to back trade flows
- Datamodelling and/or SQL knowledge
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Strong communications and customer orientation skills
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Soft skills to handle stakeholders with different background (Business Project Managers, User Representatives, Programmers, Offshore resources, Testers)
- Experience in international projects
- Development or system analysis background
- Experience in international projects
- Development or system analysis background
- Experience of Agile
- UML knowledge
