Requirements Engineer wanted for our Zurich based client in the banking sector.
YOUR EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
- University degree or similar education preferably in information technology or information management
- 6 years+ proven requirements engineering experience on IT side within financial institutions
- Solid experience eliciting requirements from business subject matter experts and writing business rules and interface specifications for the developers
- Very good understanding of financial instruments like Swaps, Forwards, Options, Warrants, Futures, Notes/Certificates, etc. as well as corporate actions and sell/buy transaction of mentioned products
- Profound theoretical understanding and practical experience of use case modelling (UML) in IT projects and good knowledge software development processes
- IREB Certified Professional for Requirements Engineering or a similar certificate is beneficial
- Languages: fluent English and German both written and spoken
YOUR TASKS:
- Eliciting and elaborating requirements
- Modelling and documenting requirements comprehensible for clients and impacted roles within IT
- Maintaining traceability between requirements and between requirements and requests
- Identifying impact of changes on the existing requirements
- Providing input to the project manager for prioritizing requirements and to a first test strategy for the application
- Supporting the testing phase by reviewing the test strategy and test cases
