Currently we are looking for a REQUIREMENTS ENGINEER to join our client's team in Zurich.
Summary:
Responsibility for data collection, analysis, development and validation of business requirements for the project and the translation of these business requirements into standardized IT specifications
Opportunity to gain a comprehensive understanding of the goals and needs related to the business processes
Responsibility for the preparation of artifacts for the relevant phase of the Business Initiative (Business Requirements, Features List, List Requirements and Specifications)
Work closely with the business, the IT application owner and the IT project
Skills:
Preferred skills:
- Strong skills in the analysis and specification of Business Rule-, Screen- and Interface Requirements
- Strong communication skills for peer- (Requirement Engineers, Solution Architect, Test Engineer) and Business communication (Business Application Owner, Business Analysts, Business User)
- Strong skills for logical and cross linked thinking
- Good ability for self organization and independent working
- Knowledge about workflow steered/supported processes
- Basic knowledge about the banking business
- Fluent written and spoken German
- Good written and spoken English
- Strong soft skills to handle stakeholders with different background (Requirement engineers, Project leads, Programmers, Offshore resources, Testers etc.)
- Strong ability to work both independently and integrated in a project team
- Good time-management
- Experienced with the usage of JIRA, Polarion, Quality Center
- Experienced with the usage of Visio
- Experienced with Agile (SCRUM)
- Experience in application development projects following incremental and iterative approaches (RUP, Agile)
- Experience in Credits domain, Risk Management
- Motivation to contribute software improvements in an interesting environment experience in banking or finance industry
- Experience with workflow, particularly with workflow automation/straight-through-processing
Advantageous skills:
Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent training required
5 or more years' experience in requirements engineering in application development projects
