Requirements Engineer/Fylde Coast area/6 Month Contract/£42 Ltd per hour

My client is a well established and highly respected engineering organisation. Due to an ever increasing workload, they are looking to recruit a Requirements Management focused professional to join their award winning team of engineering professionals. The role is based in the Fylde coast area and is for an initial duration of 6 months. The rate that is being offered for this role is £42 Ltd per hour.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be required to perform tasks suitable to the internal level of this role.

The role will contain, but will not be limited to, the following;

The role of the Engineer will report to the Engineering Integration - Production Definition Requirements Management Team Leader.

Main responsibilities will involve:

To support the Section Leader in planning, coordinating and effective delivery of specific products and activities
DOORS database activities.
The capture and management of customer requirements, translating into platform level Weapon System Specification requirements.
To define associated qualification and verification activities at platform level.
To analyse qualification and verification evidence for compliance at both platform level and at avionic and avionic sub system levels.
Liaison with lead engineering disciplines and functions.
Support to Requirements, verification and compliance review meetings.
Configuration Control of DOORS database and documents.

Skills and qualifications will ideally include:

Knowledge of typical product design life cycle.
Knowledgeable with regard to LCM and its application.
Knowledgeable with regard to Requirements Management.
Knowledgeable with regard to Avionic System, especially Link 16, Displays and Smart Weapons.
