Requirements Engineer

For our customer in Zurich we are looking for a Requirements Engineer for a contract

Your responsibilities:
- Develop and enhance the existing conceptual data model/application Business Object Model (BOM)
- Specify data attributes from a business and from a technical perspective in close collaboration with business and IT subject matter experts
- Evaluate existing data warehouse sources and identify required data elements (data analysis)
- Create end-to-end specifications, ie source-to-target from database to database
- Define business rules for computed items and complex transformations

Required Skills:
- Experience in a similar role as requirements engineer/business analyst/data analyst/data architect
- Strong banking know-how, especially in the securities area
- Data analysis skills (eg SQL)
- Strong analytical problem solving skills
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Fluent written and spoken German (as some databases are documented in German)
- Experience in data warehouse/Business Intelligence environment is a plus
- Experience in ETL tools is a plus
- Experience in Reporting/BI Tools (Business Objects) is a plus
- Degree level qualification in computing
- Oracle
- Business Objects
- Informatica Powercenter
