Requirements Analyst Job

REQUIREMENTS ANALYST needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Charlotte, NC.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- The contractor will serve in a requirements analyst role for IT Projects in support of the Energy Supply business functions.
- Working with stakeholders in order to elicit, analyze, communicate and validate requirements for new business processes and changes to existing business processes and systems; bridges the gap - translating between business needs and solutions.
- Ensuring business processes and requirements are documented and understood across the project team.
- Facilitates workshops, conducts interviews, develops use cases, etc.
- Ensures that the percentage of defects found in production is minimized by assisting the test analyst design test cases from a business perspective as well as technical aspects as needed.
- Create Requirement Traceability Matrix ensuring all requirements are traceable throughout project life cycle.
- May assist with execution of test scripts

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Excellent communication skills to interact with the business to drive out business processes and detail requirements
- Strong facilitation skills for conducting workshops, conducting interviews, organizing and leading meetings
- Ability to interpret, document and organize business requirements, technical requirements, and business process flows.
- Ability to develop use cases to feed into designs and test cases.
- Experienced with creating a traceability Matrix between business requirements.
- Strong skills in MS Office
- Self-starter

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Experience with electric utilities (esp. power generation)
- Experience with Accenture's project delivery methodology
- Experienced in HP Quality Center tool for script execution and defect management
