Security Application Developer - Java/JAP (4525)

The goal of the Network Security Configuration Management ( NSCM ) project is to introduce configuration management disciplines for network security, thereby enabling management of all network security configuration item types and providing full audit and regulatory compliance.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

- 4-5+ YEARS OF EXPERIENCE WITH DEVELOPING WITH JAP (JAVA APPLICATION PLATFORM) WHICH INCLUDES A SOLID UNDERSTANDING OF THE JAP TOOL-CHAIN
- 4-5+ YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN:
- BACKEND AND FRONT END PROGRAMMING IN JAVA, INCLUDING J2EE TECHNOLOGIES (PREFERABLY WEBLOGIC)
- WEB TECHNOLOGIES SUCH AS WEB SERVICES, REST, XML, HTML, OO AND MQ
- Very well-versed with UML, design patterns and Datamodelling
- Good knowledge of Database Technologies (preferably Oracle)
- Network Security Devices (eg Firewalls, proxies, load-balancers, etc.)

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Development of a Java-based Front End GUI using the bank's standardised Java Application Platform (JAP)
- Development of Back End business logic in Java including the use of an Oracle database
- Integration of the Java application with other external applications/services utilising web technologies such as REST etc.
