Reports Developer Job

REPORTS DEVELOPER needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh's client located in Charlotte, NC. Please note that this position does not allow for working remotely, as such the incumbent must be able to work onsite in client's location. The incumbent must also be currently eligible to work in the US for any employer.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Data Mining
- SSRS and Access
- Advanced Excel

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Develop new reports using Access, SQL Server, MSRS reports for data from various systems such as Maximo, Primavera, and/or Ad hoc metric data.
- Review and understand SQL reports to determine data source and business logic.
- Conduct report requirement gathering sessions with project business SME's.
- Develop new or modify reports in SharePoint 2010, MSRS, Access and/or SQL Server.
- Compile report mapping of Legacy reports to aid in Change Management communication.
- Work with Report Developer and Business SME's to develop report testing strategy.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Experience with Microsoft Reporting Services, SSRS and Microsoft Access are required as well as the ability to read and understand reports in their current state.

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Skills in Data Mining, Access, SQL Server and Advanced Excel are also useful.
