Reporting Systems Manager

Argyll Scott International is recruiting for a permanent management accountant for a food organisation based in KentThe position will pay between 25,000 to 33,000 per annum depending on the level of the candidateThe purpose of the role will be to provide financial support to the Project Manager of a new Finance System and the Head of Financial Planning and Analysis in pursuit of the divisions goalsKey System Skills: Driving the efficiency of the new tactical Finance Systems to the Business Own and Manage the systems and its administration processes To be the go to person for the new systemThe core deliverables of the role are as follows: Production of monthly management accounts Reporting and monitoring the divisions key performance indicators; sales, profitability ratios, and investigating variances to budget or year on year movements A central point of contact for members of the team for finance related queries Working with the team to pull together the annual budget and quarterly projections Participation in the divisions monthly management meetingsThe Ideal candidate will have the following: Part qualified (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) or qualified by experience Experience of management accounting Good excel skills, experience of SAP or other ERP systems Understanding of financial risk Understanding of managing and auditing controls of a database or reporting system Experience of process review and improvementStart date is negotiable depending on notice period but ideally by late OctoberThe ideal candidate will be system focused, understand accounting and has a commercial awareness of an industry.
