Reporting Systems Accountant - Banking

A leading banking group in London is looking to hire a "systems accountant" with strong IT, Business Partnering and Reporting Systems Decision Support and Analysis experience. This is an initial 6 month contract paying between £325 ande £400 per day. Based in London, there is a strong possibility that this contract will be extended.

Job Description:

You will be part of the finance team supporting an End to End (E2E) simplification programme tasked with delivering huge cost savings to the bank.

You will provide Finance Business Partnering and Decision Support experience to the E2E operations business and play a pivotal role in designing, implementing and maintaining the Team's data, information and reporting systems and ensuring it is aligned with the banking group's overall systems and processes.

As such, you will have strong Access and DataBase Management experience, as well as a strong knowledge of financial system processes and process development (i.e. SAP).

You will have strong business and systems framework knowledge, and be willing to play a crucial role in leading the team towards further strategic database solutions.

Key "soft skills" include: sharp analytical skills, excellent communication skills and the ability to manage a range of senir stakeholders.
