Reporting Specialist: SSAS, SSRS, SSIS, MSBI, ETL, Database

My client, a world renowned global organisation based in Prague is seeking a Database Specialist to be responsible responsible for the MIS environment within the GIS finance team from both operations and improvements. The responsibilities range from data base design to data collection and reporting/analysis tools/services.

Requirements for the role are as follows:

Experience in building data warehouses:
-Strong relational and dimensional Datamodelling and database design (OLAP, OLTP)
-database administration
-database performance tuning
-ETL process design

Experience in both static and ad-hoc report design
Strong programming skills: T-SQL, C# (hands on)
Other applications: MS SQL Server, SSAS, SSIS, Excel, Silverlight, Sharepoint

Major Accountabilities

Database Design
*Is responsible for the design, operational management and maintenance of the Integrated Database (IDB) of GIS
*Supports continuous IDB improvements to better serve the IDB customer community (Head Finance, Head BPA, Head FRA/PxQ, GIS Management, Divisions, KAMs, Demand Managers)
*Supports the master data management process
*Ensures data integrity of overall IDB solution

Data Collection Tools
*Provides the technical tools for data collection such as: Budget/Latest Forecast on local activity level and PxQ (quarterly consumption data)
*Is facilitating the overall planning and costing process
*Ensures collected data is correctly passed on to IDB for consolidation reporting and analysis
*Cooperates with other teams to ensure data accessibility and quality

Reporting/Analysis Tools/Services
*Is responsible for the Reporting/Analysis environment and aims to provide a one stop shop for all Financial GIS data
*Provides reporting packages as agreed with customer community

Others
*Is a competence center for data transformation issues/tasks
*Supports monthly Actual and Budget/Latest Forecast submissions
