REPORTING SOLVENCY 2 FINANCE MANAGER

My client, a Leading Financial Services Company, is recruiting for a Reporting Finance Manager to lead the Q3 QRT acceleration accounting work-stream on a rolling contract basis, based in Bristol.

OVERVIEW OF ROLE

QRT production is a requirement for Solvency II and forms are required to be produced in accelerated timescales for Q3 2015. The QRT project team has been formed to support the planning of this work so that it can be passed on to BAU to deliver from 31 September 2015.

THE REPORTING FINANCE MANAGER WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE FOLLOWING ON A DAILY BASIS;

(1) coordinating the delivery by all teams against the Q3 plan

(2) ensuring that a mapping of the accounting QRT forms is completed and supporting in identification of the data input requirements

(3) specifying changes to existing tools so that data inputs can be captured

(4) communicating to senior stakeholders within the Insurance Division progress against key milestones, including execution risks with the associated mitigating plans

(5) developing and updating the Q3 plan

IDEALLY THE REPORTING FINANCE MANAGER WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS;

Qualified Accountant

Previous reporting experience in influencing multiple teams and have the gravitas to influence senior stakeholders.

Successful candidates should demonstrate strong project management skills.

The successful candidate will work with accountants and actuaries, across the Insurance Division.
