Reporting Consultant

For one of its clients located in Walloon Brabant, Harvey Nash is currently looking for a

REPORTING CONSULTANT

Duration: 6 months

Location: Walloon Brabant

Scope of work:

Business Operation is a team providing REPORTING, support and tools to the Business to sustain various key business and management processes. With a view to increase the efficiency of our services, we have a need to enhance and automate some processes currently done semi - manually mainly IN EXCEL AND IN SAP AND EXCELSIUS (SAP CRYSTAL DASHBOARD DESIGN).

We have also a need for strong support in developpement of new costing models.

We therefore search for a consultant having an economic and financial background and also a high expertise in REPORTING AUTOMATION, VISUAL BASIC coding and web based possibilities (work flow management and web based input template) to develop solutions in the following areas:

In the area of REPORTING

* To analyze and understand current REPORTING METHODOLOGIES and objectives (various sources and various final outputs required),
* Identify SWOT of current REPORTING METHOD,
* Identify gaps and propose ways to improve them mainly in the areas of
o Data Base setting from different sources (SAP, excel )
o Development to industrialize load, conversion table and their updates,
o Definition and automation of integrated financial and operational reporting systems (actuals and forecast),
o Automation of reporting booklet in Powerpoint with visual Excel graphs, tables,
o Web based template development sustaining some data management updates.

* Automation of a KPI Management Cockpit (analyses existing info, define reporting targets, define gap and how to close the gap including the automation of the data collection process from various sources to load to Xcelsius)

* Development of a monitoring tool to track the whole process of Shopping Card creation in SAP to Purchase Order including invoice monitoring (track lead time, pending approval & set up of dashboard for weekly management). Set up an automatic reminder tool for late approval. Development of reporting to the attention of the Business to monitor the Purchase Order related spents.

* And last but not least: Documentation of the different programs & tools set in place to ensure further possible adaptations by the team without having to call back for external expertise (knowledge transfer required).

In the area of Costing model

* Help in the creation and automation of a model supporting the Full study costing (including internal but also outsourced and external cost).

In the area of resources

* Analyze current information sources and reportings needs to come up with an integrated and automated monitoring and reporting solution (actuals and forecast).

* In the area of Time Sheet (SAP), develop automatic monitoring & reporting tool and reminder process.
* Develop models and algorithms to sustain forecasting of resources and further potential sourcing process (external and internal).

* Develop web based template, input screen to update information and enabling clear documentation.
The consultant will be responsible of:

- End to end enhancement and automation of the processes described above.
- Clear documentation and handover to Business Operations to ensure future autonomy.

Requirements:

- Preferably Economic and Financial background
- Capacity to understand and design the modelling of strong forecasting and costing models
- Wide experience across management reporting systems and management cockpit
- Knowledge of the Pharmaceutical industry is a plus
- Mastering IT Tools
- Deep knowledge and expert in programming in Excel, Visual Basic script, DB Management, automatic workflow and wed based templates
- Knowledge of SAP as main source of information for various process above
- Knowledge of share point is a plus to enable integration of developed solution within our team site
- The contingent is dynamic, self-starter with strong analytical and influential skills

- Strong time manager and organizational skills, natural capacity to prioritize
